Hi, I'm considering either buying this pack or becoming a patreon to get some attack effects.
I'd use this for a commercial monster taming pixel art game (for the record the games in my page are very outdated so the style has changed).
As great as the effects look (10/10 btw) I'm wondering if these have been used in other games similar to the one I'm making since I'd would want to keep my game from getting confused with other games in the genre, do you know if that is the case?
Hi, I'm glad you like the art! There's no way for me to keep track of who's using the assets for which type of game, unless they post somewhere and tag me. I guess I'd say it's somewhat unlikely that they've been used for a high-profile monster-taming game? Either way, I think the uniqueness of the monsters in your game and any special mechanics in your combat system are what's going to set it apart from other games in the genre. Fancy effects would definitely catch peoples' eyes in a trailer though!

Any chance you would make non pixelated effects? Your art is great!
Thank you! It's possible in the future, but right now I'm rocking pixel art pretty hard. Between that and game dev it's kind of a full plate!

Yeah, I suppose that was a given, and its really not that big of a factor at the end of the day. Thanks for taking the time to answer.
No prob- Best of luck with the game, I followed you on itch so if you post it there I'll see it!
