INFO

Welcome to Cyber Citadel, a flexible sci-fi pixel art tileset! This tileset was originally exclusive to my patrons on Patreon, but has now been remastered and re-released here on itch.io!

This Mega Man-inspired tileset would be a perfect fit in any sci-fi platformer, metroidvania, or roguelike. Modular terrain pieces give you the freedom to create many different level layouts.  Backgrounds + ceiling shadows are designed to emphasize depth, and enforce a clear separation between foreground and background elements in your game. Check out the screenshots on the side for some previews!

Why is the spritesheet.png 150x156? Neither divisible by 8?

Hey there! The spritesheet for this tileset is basically a texture atlas, and the intended use is to parse the metadata file and load the pieces from it in your code. This is one of my older tilesets, and my more modern tilesets are grid-aligned and can be used in the more standard way you're expecting. I'll put this on my to-do list for an update, thank you for reminding me! In the meantime, as a workaround: The spritesheet for this tileset is quite small, and it should be possible to move the pieces to align with the grid and resize the image to be a multiple of 8px.

I'm not really sure how to resize - any chance you'd be open to make that update? :)

No prob- I'll have some time this weekend, I'll let you know when it's done!

Incredible - thank you!

Hey there- I updated the spritesheet to be grid-aligned like my more modern tilesets! You should be able to re-download it to get the update.
